Cala del Porto – Punta Ala – Grosseto – Tuscany

Location
Located on a promontory which gently slopes towards the sea, nestled in a lush landscape facing the island of Elba and the island of Montecristo, the Hotel Cala del Porto offers its guests magnificent views. The hotel is located in Punta Ala, one of the most exclusive tourist destinations of the Tuscan coast which also has a small marina for yachts and sailboats. It is only at an hour drive from Pisa airport and nearby there is the picturesque village of Castiglione della Pescaia.

Hotel
A pleasant and refined atmosphere welcomes you upon your arrival in the Cala del Porto, the décor is very elegant and enriched with terracotta-tiled floors and light colours marble. It is a harmonious structure with spacious and bright that areas that combine very well modern elements with some details taken from the Tuscan tradition. It opens to the outside through beautiful terraces and is surrounded by a magnificent garden full of colourful flowers and lush vegetation.

Rooms
The hotel has 40 rooms including 6 Junior Suites and 4 splendid Suites. The rooms are very spacious and bright, elegantly furnished and fully equipped. Many of these rooms have a balcony from which you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic sea or park view. The bathrooms have two sinks, and often can have a shower or bathtub. The room categories are: Classic, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suite. 
Classic – overlook the garden, have a maximum capacity of 2 persons and have no balcony.
Deluxe double – have a balcony with sea views and accommodate 2 persons.
Junior Suite – have a window overlooking the garden and can accommodate up to 3 persons with extra bed.
Suite – feature a bedroom and a small living room separated by a door, have a terrace with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea.

Restaurants
The two restaurants have in common the close attention paid to the preparation of fine dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine. One of the restaurants has a magnificent panoramic terrace and the exterior one is located directly on the beach. The dishes are always cooked with fresh products such as pasta or fish. At the beach restaurant you can enjoy tasty grilled meat or fish. Everything is of course accompanied with a choice of excellent national and international wines.

Activities
To achieve total relaxation, the beauty centre of the hotel offers massages and facial and body treatments with different and personalized programs. For those wishing to practice golf, the Golf Course Punta Ala is reachable from here in a few minutes (3 km). The Cala del Porto also has an outdoor fitness centre.

The Hotel Cala del Porto has its own sandy beach, which is reachable with a free shuttle service. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by nice gardens and a bar.
