Castello di Vicarello is a luxury charming hotel that occupies a splendid position in Tuscany's Maremma region. It is in the countryside close to Grosseto and the sea is just 30 km away. Hotel
It is a historic residence dating back to the year 1100. The buildings of the Castello di Vicarello are built around a courtyard which is accessed through an arched gate. After a long and careful restoration, which has faithfully kept its medieval style, the castle has been brought back to its former glory and has become an exclusive luxury retreat where to take a break and breath the magical and peaceful atmosphere of the past. Olive groves, vineyards, forests and gardens that surround the castle offer the customers different views and different paths to discover. In the garden there are two swimming pools, one has a panoramic view and one is heated hidden among the olive trees. Both offer the opportunity to spend time relaxing, enjoying the landscape of the Tuscany’s Maremma.

Rooms
Castello di Vicarello features four suites, one villa and a double deluxe room. All these apartments are of different sizes and can host 2 to 6 guests. Though keeping the fascination of its history these rooms are all equipped with the modern comforts and the highest standard, valuable furnishing and objects gathered through years of travelling, all chosen to provide a feeling of harmony with the surroundings:

Suite Sprone – stunning suite on two levels with access from the Castle courtyard. It is composed by a living room with fireplace, bedroom, bathroom with bathtub, small kitchenette and panoramic view.
Suite Giardino – suite with access from the castle’s courtyard on two levels composed by a bedroom with bathroom and bathtub, small cooking corner, living room with access to the private garden. Panoramic view.
Suite Vicario – the access to this suite located at the first floor is from the courtyard of the castle. It has a living room with a fireplace and a bedroom with its bathroom with bathtub. It has an amazing panoramic view.

Each suite is equipped with mini bar, kettle for tea and coffee, WI-FI internet access.

Restaurants
The restaurant of the Castelloe di Vicarello offers its guests delicious traditional local dishes prepared with fresh and genuine products of the property. All the gastronomic delicacies are accompanied by a very good extra virgin olive oil and a good wine both produced in the property. The wine cellar also has a long wine list to propose prepared by selecting the best producers of Tuscan wines.
