Hotel
Historic home, now a national monument, Villa San Michele is a former monastery built in the early 1600s that keeps intact the atmosphere typical of Renaissance palaces. The historical originality has been maintained, as shown by ancient frescoes of the seventeenth century wisely and carefully restored and the ancient and massive wooden doors leading to the rooms, once monks' cells. The facade dates back to the fifteenth century and was attributed to the master Michelangelo, who is said to have drawn inspiration for the realization of his works from the surrounding beautiful landscapes.

Rooms
The 46 rooms (21 double, 20 Junior Suite, 5 Suite) are elegantly furnished with antiques monastic style, with terracotta floors and inlaid trunks. All rooms dispose of the modern comforts: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite colour TV, CD player with DVD, mini bar, and guests also have access to a well-stocked video store where they can find all the winning films from the Academy Awards.
